Daniella Mendel-Enk

Screenwriter Daniella Mendel-Enk was born 1977 in Gothenburg. She trained in Stockholm as an actor and participated for several years in various plays and films. In 2002, she started writing and acting in comedy series on Sweden's Radio P3. After further training as a screenwriter at Nordens Författarskola Biskops-Arnö, she continued as a screenwriter for film and television.

 

With a talent for comedy and drama with an emphasis on complex characters and sharp dialogue, Mendel-Enk has extensive experience. Among other things, she wrote the script for the comedy series Solsidan and Guldbagge-nominated feature film Sune v/s Sune. Mendel Enk also gives workshops in screenwriting and storytelling and works as a supervisor, lecturer, script consultant and dramaturg (Biskops-Arnö, STDH, Anagram etc) .

 

Currently, she is developing several TV-series as well as writing a book based on her feature film CUNTS which is under development at Zentropa Sweden.
