Annah Björk joins Lagercrantz Agency

Annah Björk is an author, journalist and podcaster born in 1980. She is one of Sweden’s most influential contemporary voices, with over twenty years experience of writing about women in the music industry. At the moment she is a freelancing cultural writer working for the country’s biggest journals, she writes regularly in Svenska Dagbladet, Göteborgs-posten, Elle and ETC, Annah Björk also gives viewers insight in her own segment about pop-culture in “Nyhetsmorgon” by TV4. Moreover, she leads the podcast “Haverikommisionen” with Lasse Anrell, and is member of the jury for Grammis, Musikförläggarnas pris and Nordic Music Prize.


Båt 370 was Anna Björk’s first book, written in collaboration with Mattias Beijmo. It was published in 2017 and tells the story of a refugee boat in the Mediterranean Sea. The same year the authors participated in “I am Alive” at The national museum of science and technology in Stockholm. Their contribution consisted of a film and world unique visualization of refugee boats. The exhibition has since been shown in several places in Sweden and the rest of the world, for example at House of Sweden at the Swedish ambassy in Washington. For the visualization Annah Björk and Mattias Beijmo won “The Year’s Innovator” at MEG 2017.
