Screenwriter Daniella Mendel-Enk (b.1977, Gothenburg) has worked in various radio, TV and film productions. She moved to Stockholm in 1998, where she studied acting and participated in several stage and filmproductions. With an interest in character development and storytelling she continued her studies with a focus on psychology, rhetoric and creative writing. Arnö she successfully moved into television and film.
With a talent for suspenseful drama and smart comedy with emphasis on complex characters and sharp dialogue, Mendel-Enk has gained vast experience from working in writers’ rooms, writing episodes for various television productions and feature film. Among them the highly popular comedy drama "Solsidan" and feature film "Sune vs Sune”. Mendel-Enk is also a frequent lecturer, script consultant and dramaturg.
She is currently developing tv-series and writing a novel based on her feature film
”Cunts” (developed for Zentropa, Sweden).
